Our Season of Prayer and Fasting

The servant leaders of Faith Community Church recognize the fact that our church is no longer engaged in any church-wide outreach related to the great needs represented in our community. With this in mind we are calling our community to fasting and prayer each Wednesday during Lent.

Today’s Prayer Prompt - March 25. 2026:

Pray for our Leaders

Ask God to help our servant leaders take all of the input from our people and clearly see what the Holy Spirit is pointing our church to be and do.

Please make sure to let us know what you think the Holy Spirit is pointing our church to do. Click on this link and let us know: https://paloaltou.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_af7UoNNRRev8f2K

Consider:

"What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food.If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. - James 2: 14-17

We encourage you to continue fasting from all social media, and cable news networks, in order to enter silence that can open your mind and heart to the Holy Spirit. We also encourage you on this day to join us in fasting from food during the daytime hours so that each hunger pang drives you to seek the Lord in prayer.

WARNING - If you have any medical condition that makes fasting unsafe for you, please just pray with us.
